Mission & Outreach
Following Jesus' example, we seek to meet community needs and show our gratitude for God's blessings in our lives. Here are just a few ways we feed the hungry and help people find restoration:
The Fellowship Cup, a local non-profit agency seeking to alleviate poverty and hunger in Mt. Pleasant, IA.
We collect canned goods, put Summer Sack lunches together for local student, and purchase Christmas gifts for families in the Angel Tree program.
The CROP Walk, an organization seeking to eradicate hunger around the world.
We walk as a team in the Fall and raise money to support the cause.
One Great Hour of Sharing, a PCUSA special offering that provides funds to restore communities after natural disasters, eradicate hunger, provide resources for people's self-development, and provide clean water for developing communities.
We collect money for this offering on Palm Sunday and Easter.
4-H clubs, PEO, other community organizations, and local families use our fellowship space for meetings and family gatherings.
