Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. from September through May and at 9:30 a.m. from June through August. After the discipleship message, our children are dismissed to Sunday school, where they explore bible stories and Jesus' teachings. We follow a traditional order of worship with responsive readings, prayers, Scripture readings, a sermon, and take up an offering. Pastor Aimee usually preaches from the Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year set of suggested Scripture readings that seek to cover as much of the Bible as possible. Communion is offered to all believers on the first Sunday of every month and during special services, such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and the Thursday before Easter. Baptisms are held upon request. Children return early during services with Communion and Baptism so they may participate too.
If you fly away for the winter, travel on Sunday mornings, are sick, or otherwise cannot attend worship, we broadcast live via KILJ 105.5 FM where we also post weather cancellations.
Special services include our children's Christmas Pageant, Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, 5th Sunday services, and the women's praise service.
Several times a year we gather with members of the New London United Methodist Church and New London Christian Church to celebrate graduation, Thanksgiving, Maundy Thursday, and other seasonal activities.
